Le Petit Palais in Paris is located just opposite the Grand Palais on the Champs Elysees in the 8th arrondissement. It is a historical monument which is now used as a museum, it is also why he is also called "Museum of Fine Arts in Paris." This majestic building was erected on the occasion of the fifth universal exhibition in Paris, Charles Girault is the architect.

The Petit Palais is not as big as the Grand Palace, but it nevertheless has a very special charm. The Beziers sculptor Jean Antoine Injalbert was responsible for the implementation of several sculptural works including those of the eardrum. The Petit Palais is adorned with decorations that evoke the city of Paris surrounded by muses. Charles Girault initially planned to illuminate the building by lighting only the natural light of the glass, transparent domes and large windows had been installed. The structure of the Petit Palais is very similar to two other facilities that Charles Girault designed: the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren, Belgium and Vietnam Saigon Opera House, the architect and takes his inspiration.

The Museum now has countless collections dating from the nineteenth century and from different periods. In all the Museum of Fine Arts in Paris is home to more than 9,000 drawings and 18,000 prints, ancient and modern.
