However, in tribute to Zadkine, the Lot General Council inaugurated a museum within his Arques property. Following Valentine Prax’s bequest of their estate to the city of Paris, the rue d’Assas residence was transformed into the Musée Zadkine, officially opening a year after Prax’s demise in 1981.
