Rooms with a strong historical imprint
This site with historical vocation allows accommodation according to certain conditions including in terms of reservation deadline which must be mandatory 4 months in advance. The rooms are divided into two categories: historic rooms and classic rooms. The first are the apartments of the Medici family. The decoration has not been reworked to keep the authenticity of the place. They offer a breath taking view of Rome or the magnificent garden of this famous family. These rooms remain of great comfort with an average surface of 70 sqm. For the classic rooms, they are the old rooms of the boarders. They remain comfortable with an average surface of 40 sqm. All rooms are equipped with bathroom.
To keep the charm of the place, the site managers preferred to highlight its atypical character. For example, you will have to climb the stairs to get to some rooms. The elevator was non-existent at the time. For guests who have booked rooms, they are notified that eating and drinking are not allowed in the rooms. The hotel is however able to propose a breakfast on reservation to take in the room dedicated to it. It is also important to emphasize that the French Academy often offers cultural events on the site such as exhibitions. Moreover, it is possible to take a guided tour of the magnificent Medici garden every day.
