History of the town of Arsonval
The municipality of Arsonval is located the department of Aube and the Champagne-Ardenne region. Of Roman origin, Arsonval town already existed in the twelfth century. The town has been known under the name Arzunval in 1145. This term comes from the old name Arçon and Val. Vallis in Latin, it means valley. It is the sixteenth century that the city took the name of Arsonval.
