History of the town of Amagne
The city of Amagne is in the department of Ardennes and Champagne-Ardennes region. The name of the town means the area of many waters. It is an extension of a village called La Caure. Chapel Monclin was built by the lords of Amagne in 1213. In the sixteenth century, the church of this destination has undergone major revisions. In 1688, the municipality of Amagne became an independent parish.
