Located in the Orne department and the Lower Normandy region, Mortagne-au-Perche is a French commune. The history of the town is highlighted by the Mortagne Castle, constructed in 1411 by John I, Count of Alençon. It was attacked by Desmoutis of Normandy on July 12, 1593.
