History and visit the Place du Tertre in Paris
Place du Tertre is located in the middle of Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. It is placed at an altitude of 130 meters, in the vicinity of St. Peter’s church in Montmartre and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. It begins at the Norvins street and ends at the rue du Mont Cenis. It measures 359 meters long and 212 meters wide. The creation of this site was made in 1772. The current name of this place was given in 1830 and is in reference to the small hill mound.
