The Basilica of the Sacred Heart is located in the top of the hill Montmartre. It is attached to the Archdiocese of Paris. The Roman Catholic worship is celebrated. The largest bell in the world weighing 18,835 kg, measuring 3.06 meters high, 9.60 meters in circumference exterior is in its campanile. It also has the largest mosaic of France with an area of 480 square meters.
Sculptures and statues made by great artists adorn the interior of this basilica. Entry by the windows are sparkling light created between 1903 and 1920 but returned in good condition in 1946 following the bombing in 1944.
