Its reconstruction was halted by the Revolution, which led to its sale. Rebuilt while preserving parts of the building, it was transformed into the Théâtre de la Ville, also known as Variétés. Closed in 1807, it was renamed the Evenings Show, hosting theater, dance, and social gatherings. Today, it is known as the Salle du Prado ballroom.
