The fifth attempt resulted in a structure around 1830, replaced by a cast iron bridge in 1861, which also suffered serious turbulence. In 1939, the bridge was destroyed, and a temporary iron footbridge was put in place in 1941, although of questionable aesthetics. This succession of temporary bridges finally led to the construction of the current bridge in 1970, the result of countless projects and in-depth studies.
