Roquépine Street is located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. It begins at the Boulevard Malesherbes and ends on the street and Penthiéve Cambacérès street. The creation of this road was made in 1774 with the name Green Street.
The opening of the street Roquépine was made at the same time as that of the rue d’Astorg following letters patent dated 4 March 1774. She put on the marshes of the Marquis de Roquépine Louis Astorg of Aubarède. The part of the street which was between the street and Astorg Cambacérès Street was built in Roquépine street.
At number three on this street is the oldest hotel in St. Paul. It was built for Edward Andrew by architect Henri Parent. Its construction was made from 1861 to 1864. It was the seat of the Jacquemart André collection. Later, it became the headquarters of the Nazi party in France. The Reformed Church of the Holy Spirit is located on this street. It was built between 1862 and 1865 with a style very close to Notre-Dame-de-Lorette.
